Memorial Weekend...Laziness

Chris and I did not go anywhere for memorial day weekend. Chris was gone for work this past week and did not return till late Saturday, so we did not go anywhere. Today we went and had lunch together at where else but Longhorns. It was a great and relaxing lunch. Then we were going to go see a movie but there really was nothing out that we wanted to see so we went home to take the dogs for a walk.
We took the dogs to Cochran Mill Park. Its a park I used to go to as a child that is near my grandparents house. I felt with the little break in rain it would be fun for Chris and the dogs.

Chris took this with his phone as he was crossing with Gus.

Chris and Gus were able to walk in the creek, but not me and Gabby. Gabby just got fixed a few days ago and was not allowed to bathe or get wet, so we stood and watched the boys. It really was a nice but humid day.
The bad part was my nerdy husband felt the need to come home and do boring history research about the park and the area surrounding. But not only did he do this boring research but he and my grandmother talked about it allllll night so I was forced to listen to the boringness (?). We are so very different in this sense!!! Well thats all for tonight...hopefully we will have a pretty day tomorrow and can go to the pool. Hope everyone had a great and relaxing holiday weekend!

Movies & Church & Happy Mom's Day

Great weekend at home...yea finally. Saturday we went to dinner and movie with Caley and Clint. We saw Ghosts of Girlfriends Past. It was a great movie...it was funny but was so much more funny was that as usual me and Caley laughed completely opposite of most people. That always happens when we see movies together. The boys liked it too.
Today we to Church. Great sermon today on Faithfulness.
Mom and Dad went to the lake this weekend so I had to catch up with her when they got home to give her her mothers day hug and present.
I love my Mom so very much and I have NO idea where I would be without her!!

Work Begins & At home at the Grandparents

Well this week I began my first week of work. It was just orientation and sooo boring sitting is class just reminds me so much of how I do not miss school. Driving an hour each way to get to work, I was laughing at myself freaking out about the horrible traffic because its the norm here in Georgia to have five lanes of traffic creeping along. But I was glad to be back.
Just a few pictures below of the past couple of weeks:

Below is a pic of Chris and my grandmother playing her Wii. Oh yess my grandmother plays a mean game of Wii.

We have been having some crazy bad storms lately. Well my grandparents house is surrounded by woods. This is a picture of the tree that fell during one of the storms. Had this tree been 2-5 feet longer it would have hit the house. Its not huge but still could have really done damage.

Below is picture of the dogs resting in Grandfathers recliner.....spoiled rotten!!!

Below is Grandfather spoiling the babies....once again sooo spoiled!!!

Well thats all for now. I will be starting my normal 3 day work (12 hour shifts) week, sooo excited!! I am pumped about being off tomorrow and Sunday. I have lots to do tomorrow!
