Memorial Weekend...Laziness

Chris and I did not go anywhere for memorial day weekend. Chris was gone for work this past week and did not return till late Saturday, so we did not go anywhere. Today we went and had lunch together at where else but Longhorns. It was a great and relaxing lunch. Then we were going to go see a movie but there really was nothing out that we wanted to see so we went home to take the dogs for a walk.

We took the dogs to Cochran Mill Park. Its a park I used to go to as a child that is near my grandparents house. I felt with the little break in rain it would be fun for Chris and the dogs.

Chris and Gus were able to walk in the creek, but not me and Gabby. Gabby just got fixed a few days ago and was not allowed to bathe or get wet, so we stood and watched the boys. It really was a nice but humid day.

The bad part was my nerdy husband felt the need to come home and do boring history research about the park and the area surrounding. But not only did he do this boring research but he and my grandmother talked about it allllll night so I was forced to listen to the boringness (?). We are so very different in this sense!!! Well thats all for tonight...hopefully we will have a pretty day tomorrow and can go to the pool. Hope everyone had a great and relaxing holiday weekend!
